I entered the Oklahoma City Bombing Memorial (officially called the Oklahoma City National Memorial and Museum) the morning of May 15, 2013 with a very heavy heart. There are many segments to the Memorial and each touched my heart and spirit deeply. I always planned to tour the Memorial before my keynote speech on reputation and ethics that afternoon for the 2013 Compass Awards sponsored by the Oklahoma Business Ethics Consortium (OK Ethics) and the Oklahoma Quality Foundation. But what I did not expect at the Oklahoma Memorial, was to experience a flood of emotions tied to my experience with NYC’s 9/11 tragedy.
